Kathleen Ingellis, PMHNP-BC Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Education: Walden University, Minneapolis, MN | MS Nursing | 2021 Credentials: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Previous Experience: Kat began her nursing career in Connecticut (CT) in 1999, when she became a certified nursing assistant (CNA). She then became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 2002, working in an extended care facility where she provided pediatric home care. After becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2009, shew gained acute care experience working on a Med/Surg Unit, and then 12 years on a Medical Intensive Care Unit. During this time, she also worked in a treatment facility for substance use disorders and medication assisted withdrawal management. After going back to school and becoming a PMHNP-BC in 2022, Kat and her family relocated from CT to Maine and worked for Tri-County Mental Health Services (Spurwink). Professional Focus: Kat works with clients across the lifespan, from young children to older adults who experience a variety of psychiatric disorders, that include neurodevelopmental, mood, psychotic, eating, anxiety, trauma-based, substance use, and personality disorders. Hobbies: Kat enjoys doing anything physical – exercising, bicycling, body boarding, swimming, snowboarding, skateboarding, sledding, and playing with her kids.
